AHA CPR classes by the American Heart Association

CPR and First Aid Training at Maryland CPR and Saftey

 HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station. AHA CPR Classes available


Access to the BLS Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included with HeartCode BLS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course.


 After completing the online portion of this course, you must complete a hands-on session (sold separately) with an AHA instructor to obtain a course completion card.

Who should take this course?

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. 


 After completing the online portion of this course, you must complete a hands-on session (sold separately) with an AHA instructor to obtain a course completion card.

Is this Class Right for you?

 BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
